CNC machining is a process used to machine sheet metal structures using CNC machines, which can perform milling and turning. This process uses a Brother robot loaded multi-operation machine with vision, making it suitable for final machining of sheet metal structures.

CNC milling and CNC turning

At Linde Maskiner, we use CNC machining for the final machining of sheet metal structures. Depending on the design of the component, the machining can be carried out by CNC milling or CNC turning. In CNC milling, the workpiece is machined using rotating cutting tools, for example to machine surfaces, edges, grooves and holes. In CNC turning Instead, the workpiece rotates whilst the tool machines the material, which is suitable for round and cylindrical shapes, amongst other things.

CNC machining can be combined with several of our other processes. For example, a component can laser-cut. or is pressed before undergoing final machining on the CNC machine. We also carry out welding and assembly when additional manufacturing steps are required.

We can machine parts ranging from 50 to 1,200 mm and use both manual and automatic loading on our CNC machines.
