CNC turning is used primarily for machining round and cylindrical components. At Linde Maskiner, we use CNC turning as part of our CNC machining services and for the final machining of sheet metal structures.

CNC turning of round and cylindrical components

In CNC turning, the workpiece rotates whilst a cutting tool machines the material. This method is particularly suitable for components with round or cylindrical shapes and makes it possible to machine the workpiece to the required dimensions and geometries.

At Linde Maskiner, we use CNC turning for final machining, which can be combined with our other manufacturing processes when a component requires multiple stages. This enables us to offer more than just the turning itself within the same production run. For parts that instead require machining of, for example, surfaces, edges, grooves or holes, we also offer CNC milling. Find out more about our full range of services in CNC machining.
